The fourth film I chose was the Fast and Furious. In the first two minutes, the main character is at a race track and he does a drift run on the course, and almost crashes. This shows that the movie will be about racing, but it give a story line, or any information about the characters. The film has an establishing shot of the city where the film takes place. Then there is incidental music as the characters car pulls up, and a kid shot is used. Then, there is a close up of the character in the driver seat. The sound effect of the car is used almost the whole scene, with some fast-pace incidental music in the background. Shot/reverse shot is used to show the whole opening scene. The jobs are actors and writers. The budget was 38 million USD. The film was nominated for 7 awards.
