Integration of technology:         As previously stated in CCR #3 my team and I worked on the film on "Adobe Premier Pro" to edit and have full control over lighting, sound, picture quality, and clip duration. Our project was primarily shot on a handheld Sony 5n. We utilized the internet to do research on other movies, scenes, and content. This research helped to form our plan to distribute and revise our short film to produce the best product possible. Also, the research led to our group finding a better template for our movie from other movies, creating the best scenes possible.

Production skill development:            Over the course of filming we made several revisions. To avoid major revisions we planned out where we would film, when, with what, and dialogue. My team struggled the most with acting because we were all new to being on camera. However, as we got more comfortable with one another the production process became easier. More over, we were all new to editing as well, by utilizing "Adobe Premier" we had full control of the duration of clips, sound, and additional lighting. I am the main character and receive a list at the end of the preview(which was improvisation), working on this project has improved my improve skills immensely.

Through the use of young actors who are "current", and wealthy, audiences will be attracted to their status. Our product targets ages 15-40, with action packed content, that could keep anybody on the edge of their seats. With a specific appeal to people interested in Cars. Our product will be a movie that's about an hour and 30 minutes following standard conventions of action films in present day. Violence (The hit list), racing at high speeds, and further confrontation brings suspense and satisfaction to those viewing.

Conventions : Our product challenges and uses conventions by the utilization of natural light, dialogue, minimal music, over-the-shoulder shots, and a time hop to the future/ present day. Conventions such as focusing the camera on the foreground or the up-close shot of the distressed characters face accentuates emotion and suspense. The use of minimal music is implicated due to dialogue which gives the audience a further understanding of the stories plot. The overall ambiance of our preview is action packed, and will leave the viewers on the edge of their seats. Social Groups/ Issues : Within our three minute short film, we were able to establish social groups such as gangs and the issues that preside with them. Issues such as gang violence, drag racing (illegal), robbing banks, and objectification of woman are all present in our product. It's common for young boys to want to fit in and get caught up on materialistic things without regard for the legal consequences as well as youn...
