The movie is about a teenager who is a getaway driver. That part of the story is told in the first two minutes, but the background information is not shared in the film openings. There is an establishing shot showing the team walking into the bank to rob it, as the driver waits to drive away. There are short cuts, during the getaway, showing the different areas of the cities, and how they got rid of the police. There is a long shot of the car on the highway. The driver is listening to music the whole time, so you can hear the music during the opening scene. The jobs featured are: cameraman, actors, writer of the movie. The film's budget was 34 million dollars. Baby Driver was nominated for the Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer Movie Star: Male.
